Dr. Bruce Fearon founded Summit Vein Care in Lee’s Summit in 2005.
Since then, the practice has grown from one local clinic into a focused vein care team serving patients in Lee’s Summit and Claycomo. We diagnose and treat vein conditions—varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, leg pain and swelling—at two Kansas City-area locations.

Why We Opened in Claycomo
Patients north of Kansas City have always had fewer options and longer waits to be seen. Opening our Claycomo location in May 2026 was a direct response to that, giving patients more direct access to board-certified vein care specialists.

Vein Care is a medical vein specialty clinic with two Kansas City-area locations. For patients also exploring cosmetic or aesthetic care, Roots of Nature Aesthetic & Wellness operates within our Lee’s Summit building, under the same physician oversight.
What Brings Patients to Us

Left untreated, venous disease can lead to significant health concerns. That’s what we diagnose and treat, using 3 in-office procedures: Endovenous Laser Ablation, Endovenous Chemical Ablation, and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy. There’s no hospital stay, and patients return to normal activity the same day.
How Treatment Begins
Every patient starts with a free 15-minute quick scan. No insurance billed. An ultrasound tech scans the affected area, and you leave with a diagnosis. If the scan comes back negative, we tell you that so you can communicate with your primary care physician on who to see next.
We verify your insurance benefits before your next visit if we recommend treatment. You’ll know your out-of-pocket cost before any procedure.
The Cosmetic Side of Care
Roots of Nature Aesthetic & Wellness is a separate practice that shares our Lee’s Summit building, also overseen by Dr. Fearon. Cosmetic and aesthetic treatments, the kind that fall outside Summit Vein Care’s medical scope, are what Roots of Nature is for.
The 2 practices are distinct, but the proximity is deliberate. Patients who complete vein treatment and want to address cosmetic concerns can transition to Roots of Nature without starting over somewhere new.
That’s what makes this location genuinely different. There isn’t another vein and cosmetic center in Kansas City where both a medical vein practice and a cosmetic wellness clinic operate under the same roof, overseen by the same physician.
Who We See
Summit Vein Care sees patients at any stage of vein disease. From early-stage discomfort to advanced cases involving skin changes or ulcers. We also regularly see patients who’ve been told elsewhere that nothing could be done.
A free quick scan costs nothing and takes 15 minutes. If we can help, we’ll tell you. If we can’t, we’ll tell you that, too.
