It’s the right question, and it’s one we can help you answer with certainty rather than keep wondering about. In 15 minutes, our ultrasound team checks for reflux, which means blood may be flowing the wrong way in your veins.

Most people who wonder whether they need vein treatment have already been managing their symptoms longer than they realize. At our vein clinic in Kansas City, we see this every day.
Patients who have been putting off doing something about their legs because they weren’t sure the problem was serious enough. It usually is. As a specialist practice focused exclusively on vein care, we can tell you what’s actually going on and what treatments can help. The quick scan is often the first step, unless you have already been diagnosed with or treated for vein disease in the past.
The quick scan is a 15-minute ultrasound we offer at our vein clinic in Kansas City at no cost. An ultrasound tech performs it with no insurance billed. If you have ever been diagnosed with vein disease or treated for it before, you do not need the quick scan. We recommend scheduling a new patient appointment instead. At this initial free visit, you do not see a provider or receive treatment options at this visit.
If your screening is positive for reflux, we recommend moving forward with a new patient appointment. At that visit, you receive a comprehensive ultrasound study and meet with a provider to discuss findings, treatment options, and timeline.
Vein disease is genetic. It affects people in excellent health, people who are active, and people who’ve spent decades on their feet. At our vein clinic, we see patients in Kansas City at every stage.
Those who tend to do best come in before symptoms become severe. Early-stage disease is treatable, manageable, and often covered by insurance when medically necessary. Our team verifies your benefits before your appointment.
The doctor performs our procedures in-office at our vein clinic in Kansas City, and most patients return to normal activity the same day. In fact, we encourage it. We specialize exclusively in vein care, which means we typically get patients started on treatment faster than a general practice or hospital system.
Not sure if your symptoms are vein-related? Start with our screening tool. When you’re ready to come in, schedule your free quick scan.
